Free Tickets for Key Workers

As our way of saying thank you for all your hard work during the pandemic. We are giving away 6 pairs of free tickets to our 'Night With Bruno mars' on Saturday 22nd May. We have the UK's top tribute band and support from 'The Shenanigans' lined up for a full night's entertainment. The bar is being provided by the Flying Horse.

The venue for the night is Rochdale's hidden gem the 'Champness Hall' in the town centre on drake Street. The hall is coming back to life for live events and will provide the perfect setting for what will be a great celebration of lockdown restrictions easing.

People can sit in groups with friends following the current stage 2 rules that apply outside. You can sit at tables in groups of 6 or 2 households with table drinks service provided all night.

If you work in the NHS, Social Care, Emergency Services or Schools register for the chance to win free tickets to our Night With Bruno Mars at the amazing Champness Hall on the 22nd May.

All you have to do is enter using your work email address. If we have more than 6 people apply we will raffle off the tickets. The deadline to submit your tickets is Sunday 16th May with winners contacted on Monday.

A Night With Bruno Mars Launch!

What's Occurrin' Rochdale presents 'A Night With Bruno Mars' on 22nd May, 2021 at Champness Hall, Rochdale!

On Saturday 22nd May Rochdale's first live show (Socially Distanced) will take place at the Champness Hall, since the lifting of restrictions. The evening will begin with local group the Shenanigans Duo playing a selection of covers and favourites. We are then excited to announce we will be entertained by the award winning ' A Tribute to Bruno Mars'.

'BRUNO - A Tribute to Bruno Mars' are the UK's leading Bruno Mars Tribute, featuring a fully live & choreographed show and 5 piece Band. Since winning the official title of UK's Number 1 Bruno Mars Tribute for two consecutive years, the band have performed at theatres and festivals all over the UK and internationally!

Pre sale tickets go on sale this weekend to members of our mailing list. You can still join, not only get first refusal on tickets but a special discount as well.

Tickets then go on general sale next Friday 23rd April and we cannot wait to welcome you to have a fantastic time after such a difficult year and help restore this fantastic hall to its former glory!

What's Occurrin'? Rochdale Launch!!!

We are delighted to launch Rochdale's very own what's on guide. The aim of this new site is to create a catalogue of all the amazing live events running across our town.

Rochdale has a really vibrant arts and events sector that includes music festivals, food festivals, carnivals and live music venues to name just a few. We want to help the creative sector of Rochdale to come out of Covid stronger than ever before. We aim to create a platform that supports our local community and helps to not only promote but celebrate the talent we have in Rochdale.

This site will be completely free for all and there is absolutely no charge for advertising on our site. So if you have an event to list, no matter how big or small, please get touch !

We need your help to get the word out so if you know anyone who this site might benefit please share it with them.

As we slowly exit lockdown we will start to run a whats on blog detailing what events are on each month so please sign up to our mailing list to stay up to date.

This page is the brain child and 2nd lockdown project for the organisers who brought you Oktoberfest Rochdale and Little Glastonboro in 2019. We are proud Rochdalians and musicians ourselves and we want to do our bit to see our town thrive!
