In celebration of HM Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee the world famous Black Dyke Band will provide you a scintillating evening with thrilling film scores, toe tapping big band music and patriotic favourites to celebrate the reign of Her Majesty.
The Black Dyke Band will be joined on stage by Wardle Junior Blast, a youth band made up of young brass players from primary schools across Wardle and Littleborough.
The concert will conclude with all your favourites from the Last Night of the Proms. Guiding us through all the songs will be professional opera singer Tom Smith. Tom will also sing 2 songs with Black Dyke Band including 'Nessun Dorma'.
Black Dyke are not your 'traditional' brass band as they have toured USA, Australia and Europe with the likes of Elton John and The Beatles, as well as being the first brass band to perform on the pyramid stage at Glastonbury in 2017! They have been described as the most famous brass brand in the world and we have the honour of having them perform at Champness Hall, Drake Street, Rochdale OL16 1NZ.
This will not be a night to be missed! Please join us on the 2nd of June 2022, from 6:30pm for a sensational celebration. Tickets prices are: Adults £14, Concessions £12 Children/Students £5. Which are all available at www.whatsoccurrinrochdale.co.uk
